Financial Analyst - Retail Property
A property Financial Analyst records and verifies all transactions of a portfolio of properties including the administration and accuracy of lease terms in the Company’s database.
Maintain the leasing database in MRI for a portfolio of locations including
- Entering all applicable terms and notes once a lease is signed
- Posting cash receipts
- Reviews tenant ledgers for accuracy
- Preparing tenant account analysis when charges and/or balances are disputed
- Prepares security deposit refund invoices
- Ensures that the rent roll for each property is accurate
- Prepare year end and interim expense reconciliations
Other tasks
- Reconciliation the General Ledger balance sheet accounts to the appropriate sub ledgers and schedules
- Assists in the budgeting process of the portfolio
- Preparation of various daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Assists in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions
