Property Management Associate
The Property Management Associate is responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects affecting our commercial real estate properties. The person in this position works in a collaborative and challenging environment with Glazer Properties ownership, senior management, and multiple internal departments to ensure that all properties within a given portfolio are maintained and operating at the highest of standards.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee the regular operational management including the compliance of vendors and tenants in a given portfolio of commercial real estate
- Directly involved in the selection of vendors and the negotiation of the agreements relating to their services
- Monitor and oversee vendors performance and compliance with such agreements
- Evaluate more efficient operational products or arrangements for the management of our properties
- Participation in the development of annual budgets for a given portfolio of properties
- Frequent in-person interaction with senior management and multiple internal departments
- Complete department specific reports as required
- Periodic travel to the markets where the properties are located
- Special projects as requested by ownership or senior management
Requirements & Abilities:
- Bachelors’ degree required
- Detail and accuracy oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills required; ability to verbally communicate with vendors, municipalities, senior management and multiple internal departments
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Individual must be highly motivated, a self-starter and able to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines at once
- Eagerness to accept additional responsibilities as assigned
