This Leasing Specialist position is a valuable member of our team and will support the Company’s mission to achieve its’ vision, initiatives and practices in the day-to-day leasing campaign for premier Class A properties in the Greater Houston market. Working from a newly established Houston based office and through a collaborative relationship with our home office, this position will provide prospective clients and tenants with a local, knowledge based leasing contact that lives and breathes the Houston commercial real estate market. Additional details on this high level and challenging position are out lined below.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with prospective tenants and brokers in the Greater Houston Market
  • Meet with and tour prospective tenant’s and broker’s through premier Class A properties in the Greater Houston Market
  • Effectively present to and communicate with ownership and senior management on the details of  prospective deals in the leasing pipeline
  • Propose, negotiate and finalize leasing documents from initial offers all the way through final leases
  • In a joint manner work with multiple internal departments in the Company’s home office to help facilitate the day-to-day functions from an operational standpoint
  • Develop and maintain a keen sense for market conditions, trends and then with great clarity communicate that back to the Company’s home office
  • Completion of Company required reports
  • Special and or confidential projects for ownership and or senior management
  • As needed by the Company in an outward facing position, liaise between our home office and various groups/vendors looking to gain access to a property and or space

Requirements, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelors’ degree required
  • Temporarily relocate for training with the Glazer Properties staff at our home office
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying timelines at once
  • Efficiently multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change
